Nurturing Goddess

“Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” – Mother Teresa

When should I awaken my Nurturing Goddess?

• When you feel disconnected or depressed

• If people tend to find you cold, uncaring or intimidating

• If you feel like a victim of circumstances, facing one problem after another

Inner Focus: Responsibility

To awaken Nurturing Goddess, it’s important to focus on and expand your ability to respond to situations. You can begin by taking responsibility for yourself and the situation you find yourself in. You’re not a victim, but a co-creator of your circumstances and you have the power to change them. It’s also about extending your sense of responsibility to helping others in need. You can make a difference to others in whatever situation you’re in and all it takes is your willingness.

Outer Gift: Sacrifice

Nurturing Goddess’ gift to the world is Sacrifice. I know, this word sounds ‘icky’ in today’s ‘what’s in it for me’ environment. But don’t you think it’s refreshing to see someone inconveniencing themselves to help another person? Without such people, the world would come to a standstill. This is a very important archetype to help others overcome difficulties and rise. The essence of Nurturing Goddess is unconditional love and a great example of this archetype is Mother Teresa.
